Retro Blog(from the Sahara excursion): The Tent through my Stars
I can see the Stars through my tent.
Tommorow I am waking up to see the sunrise,
There are Brilliant pinpicks shining through the patchwork fabric of the tent
I love this spacious tent
Where three sleep,
where six could.
It is beautiful and carpet-covered
But, I am afraid that I don't Appreciate the Sahara Night
What are these anxieties that keep drawing me away?
These Judgements?
What can draw me away, sway me
When there are PinPoints Shining though my Sleep
Why fear when I have stars out there
amidst palm trees and sand.
and Camel backs,
Long eyelashes and Teddy bear hair
with the potential to Spit
Ignoring my passion
That Anxiety is there
in the back of my throat
But
In defiance,
I will fall asleep
remembering the Stars
Without a tent
