The group has arrived in Chuxiong, the ancient city of the Yi minority group in China. Our hotel is right near a nightmarket, so we will be busy exploring and won't have time to post more tonight. The group is quite excited!

Thanks very much for even the one picture is worth a million words. It appears like a beacon in the desert. I'm sure the market place will be ripe for many beautiful pictures with wonderful sights. This should be a new and different experience for you all.

Hi Vic,

I am jealous, I went to Beijing, saw Tiananmen, forbidden city, but never been to Kunming, or Chuxiong. You all seem to have fun. Did you try the chicken feet and head? How was it? Enjoy it further, and learn from it.
Love, dad.

Bonjours mon coeur,

Hey Rush, How are you? I went to Mark's graduation yesterday. It was good! He actually smiled! And I got hugs and kisses without even begging. Today he is having a "grilling party". He is the "chef" can you believe!

Mom

Hey Rush:
Is the market anything like our 'Ben Dung', or is it more like "Redemption Ground" Down Town. Whatever it is I'm sure it will be interesting. Markets are usually the heart beat of the people.
Luv u, Keep warm and healthy,
Aunti

Hey Rush, Just got back! The party was good! The chicken was actually edible! He was an excellent host. I cooked currried goat and it disappeard in a flash! Anyway going thru "drawls" long to hear from you. Luv you "banches".

Anyway I guess you are all busy taking in the the beautiful scenes ...Look forward to hearing you soon Rush .
Lots of Love from Gucci and Aunty Bonny !

Hi Rush......I know you are unable to communicate with us at this time. Based on the last picture of the Pagoda. You are now headded into deep rural China. Please note how they cultivate their crops and feed their families. Fascinating!
