Hi Everyone, Thanks for posting the map, Aaron! You can see the sites of both our homestay village and the trek from this visual representation of Ladakh...
Find Leh in the upper right quadrant of the map.
Then follow the Indus River northwest through Nima, Ridzong, Wanla to get to Domkhar where we spent the last week or so in our homestay families.
For the trek, find Leh again.
Then follow northeast to Digar, connecting with the Shyok River. Follow the Shyok River northwest through Kalsar to Deskit. We will end our trek here and attend a festival of masked dancing!
Hope you're all well, and hope this explaination gives an idea about where we've been traveling the past few weeks.
